It all started in a toolshed…I think every once in a while you have to stop and reflect and count your blessings. For those of you who don’t know our story…I started our firm in 1997 after leaving a very successful senior management position in industry with a Fortune 15 company and the salary, perks, covered parking, unlimited expense account, you get the picture. I moved from the 50^th floor office with all that to a spacious 80 Square foot tool shed in my garage at home. It was so cramped, not to mention that it didn’t have any air, that I went out and bought mirrors to give the illusion that my office was bigger. After installing a window air conditioner (still no heat), I had to toggle between calling prospective new clients and flipping the air unit on and off…the noise in the little shed made it impossible for both. If that wasn’t enough my neighbor next door who was long into his retirement would mow his grass like 4 times a week, on a mower with no muffler. Humble beginnings indeed. I was grateful that companies began to give me a shot, and now 12 years later Medpoint has become an overnight success with revenues in excess of $3 million annually and a loyal client base of a 100+ of the best, most-qualified and honest consultants peppered around the globe. We are blessed. When your way becomes cloudy, remember with integrity, diligence, and God’s favor you can win and prosper.
